Quote (of the reg packet) : "To prevent serious injury or potential death, this CP Air Regulator MUST be securely threaded onto the bottle and locked into place using LOCTITE® 242 (Part no. 24231)."
From the UKPSF website: "CPSC also recommends that people make sure that any modifications to the paintball gun or the CO2 [or air] canister are done properly. For example, installing anti-siphon tubes involves removing and re- installing the canister valve. It is critical that the valve be re- installed with the appropriate adhesive and the proper torque."
So you make your own mind up

VERY WRONG!!! Have you not been reading the 'torpedo' reports?And its unnecessary. Regs wont easily open if there is pressure inside the bottle.
