9 pages of debate summed up in a few sentences. So I wont be using my Stako at Dartford tomorrow then...bugger.
Hmm...H-PAC..well done, if ever there is any doubt, there is no doubt and suspension of use would be the wise choice, until the situation is investigated, as was with the previous situation with the oil in the reg.
I think STAKO, might have been a bit pissed, if the first they know, is that a blanket ban on their product has been initiated, claiming them to be unsafe BEFORE anyone has even mentioned anything to STAKO.
Generally, it is usually thought polite, to direct any concerns towards the party involved, before ranting to the wider community.
However, I can see how this may have been impractical, given the discovery was made mid tournament...no time to inform STAKO and yet, cant allow the use of the bottles, which is going to piss off the wider community and let them all know about it.
So yeah...bugger. Lets hope its sorted either way.

Welcome Mr StakoI have one question:
If the stako is so bad, and they demand some sort of evidence for its safety, then you realy says that the Pi aproveal isnt good enough, millenium will choose which tanks are ok and which not??? This smells i would say!!
Fully agree there mate. If there is any possibility that there is a bad batch on the market, then the blanket ban is the only short-term way of dealing with that. It's a fair point Gaz, and i don't doubt stako's in the slightest but the "only" option for HPAC was to give a blanket ban as they suspected a fault?
"If" one blew, and it was discovered that HPAC were aware of the problem then they'd be sued into oblivion![]()
Sad but true, we are now a blame culture nation![]()

HeheWelcome Mr Stako
Things sometimes, aren't all they seem...and we could go down the path, that in the Microcosm that is paintball, certain groups could have ulterior motives with their actions...but...at the end of the day, safety is safety and the prevailing motive, would seem to be the prevention of an accident ruining lives and the paintball scene.
I firmly believe in Stako's product, I have one..I love it and I believe that a satisfactory conclusion will be found.
I do think that the current situation, conspiracies aside, has fallen foul of bad timing and coincidence. Given different circumstances, I feel that it would have been handled better, in the way that the "problems" were made public and the order that parties were informed.
